Tell us the occasion, audience and budget, and we will suggest suitable items, how they can be branded, and how they could be packed and delivered.

Branding methods

The right method for the item

The material decides how a logo goes on. Pick an item to see the method that usually suits it.

The item

Usually the best method

Laser engraving

The laser burns through the coating to the bare steel: precise, and it never wears off.

Also works: UV printing, pad printing

Guidance only; the method depends on the exact product, and we confirm it with a mock-up before production.

Pricing

What shapes the price

Every quotation comes down to the same four things.

  1. 01The itemThe product itself sets most of the price: a pen and a power bank are worlds apart.
  2. 02Branding methodScreen, laser, UV or embroidery, with set-ups per colour or position.
  3. 03QuantitySet-ups are shared across the run, so the price per piece drops as quantities grow.
  4. 04PackingIndividual boxes, cards or kits packed per person add a step and materials.

Before you order

Notes, files and finishes

Short references to read before you order: what to plan for, how to prepare your artwork.

01Production notes 6
  • The branding method depends on the item’s material and shape; not every method suits every product.
  • Product availability and colour options change; we confirm them at the time of quotation.
  • For a new item we show your logo on a digital mock-up; a physical sample can be arranged, at extra cost and time.
  • Kits with several items need a packing plan — tell us if they go to one address or many.
  • Ramadan, Eid, National Day and year-end are the busiest weeks; brief us early so stock and branding are not rushed.
  • Names on each piece? Send them as a spreadsheet, one row per person, spelled exactly as they should appear.

01

Bleed and safe area

Extend any colour or image that touches the edge 3 mm past the trim line, so no white sliver shows after cutting. Keep text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim; the blade can drift by a millimetre.

02

Image resolution

Photos need 300 ppi at the size they will print. Images taken from websites or messages are usually 72 ppi and turn soft or blocky on paper, even when they look sharp on screen.

03

Colour mode

Supply files in CMYK, not RGB. Screens can show brighter greens, blues and oranges than ink can print, so convert early and judge the colours before you approve.

04

Rich black for large areas

Big black backgrounds print deeper as rich black (C40 M30 Y30 K100). Keep body text and fine lines in 100% black only, or the colours can show at the edges.

05

Fonts

Embed every font in the PDF or convert text to outlines. A missing font is replaced by another one, and line breaks, spacing and Arabic shaping can change.

06

Logos and line art

Send logos as vector files: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. Vectors stay sharp at any size; a logo copied from a website or a screenshot cannot be enlarged cleanly.

07

Smallest sizes

Keep text at 6 pt or larger, and 7 pt for reversed or thin fonts. Lines thinner than 0.25 pt can break up or disappear in print.

08

Finishes on their own layer

Foil, spot UV and embossing are made from separate artwork. Put each finish on its own layer or spot colour, named clearly, in exact position over the print.

09

Folds and panels

Folded pieces are not divided equally. On a tri-fold, the panel that folds inside is 2–3 mm narrower; we send the right template before you design.

10

QR codes and barcodes

Print codes at least 20 mm wide, dark on light, with a clear margin all round. Scan the final proof with more than one phone before you approve it.

11

Proofreading

We print what you approve. Check names, phone numbers, emails, prices and dates on the final proof, ideally with someone who did not write them.

12

Exporting the PDF

Export as PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4, single pages in reading order, with crop marks and bleed included. One file per item keeps everything easy to check.

13

What to send for this job

  • Logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF)
  • Brand colours as Pantone references where possible
  • Any wording, names or personalisation as a list
  • Preferred placement on the item, if you have one in mind

FAQ

Promotional Gifts & Merchandise: common questions

Can you help choose the items?

Yes. Share the occasion, audience, quantity and budget, and we will suggest suitable items and branding methods.

Can you put together welcome kits?

Yes. We can combine several branded items with custom packaging and printed cards into one kit per person.

Can I see it before the full order?

You always see a digital mock-up with your logo first. For many items a physical sample can be arranged too; it adds cost and delivery time, so it is quoted separately.

Is there a minimum quantity?

It depends on the item and the branding method. Some items can be branded in small numbers, others have a minimum set by the method or the supplier; we tell you in the quotation.

How early should we order for Ramadan or year-end?

As early as you can. These are the busiest weeks for gifting, and stock, branding and delivery all take longer, so share the date with your first enquiry.

Do you have eco-friendly options?

Yes. Recycled and organic cotton, bamboo, cork and recycled plastics are often available, with recyclable packaging. Mention it in your request and we suggest items to suit.

Can I order directly from the catalogue?

The catalogue is for requesting quotations, not for buying online. Add products to your Quote List with quantities and options, send the request, and we reply with a quotation. There is no payment on the website.

I can’t find the item I need. Can you still help?

Yes. The catalogue shows a selection of available items. Describe what you are looking for in a quote request and we will suggest suitable options.

How long does branding take?

It depends on stock and the branding method; most items are branded in days once you approve the mock-up. Seasonal weeks are busier, so your quotation states the time after approval.
