Overview
What this service covers
Large-format graphics are seen from a distance, often in bright light, and sometimes outdoors in UAE heat. The material matters as much as the design.
We help you choose materials and mounting for the location and how long it needs to last, and check the artwork at full size. Built signs, from 3D letters to lightboxes, are fabricated and installed with our partners.

What shapes the price
Every quotation comes down to the same four things.
- 01SizeSign area and letter height drive the material and the hours of fabrication.
- 02MaterialVinyl and PVC sit at one end; acrylic, aluminium and stainless steel letters at the other.
- 03LightingFront-lit, back-lit or halo LED adds the light modules, the wiring and a power supply.
- 04InstallationHeight, access, the wall and any permit decide the installation crew and their time.
Before you order
Notes, files and finishes
Short references to read before you order: what to plan for, how to prepare your artwork.
01Production notes 7
- Tell us whether the graphic is indoors or outdoors and whether it faces direct sun; this decides the material and laminate.
- Measure the wall, window or stand exactly and share photos of the site where possible.
- Low-resolution images that look fine on screen can blur at banner size; we check this before printing.
- Some removable films are better for glass than for painted walls; the surface matters.
- Street-facing and illuminated signs often need landlord or municipality approval; we help you prepare what they ask for.
- Malls usually set rules for letter height, lighting and fixing; share their guidelines with us early.
- Illuminated signs need a power point near the sign; we confirm its position before fabrication.

01
Bleed and safe area
Extend any colour or image that touches the edge 3 mm past the trim line, so no white sliver shows after cutting. Keep text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim; the blade can drift by a millimetre.
02
Image resolution
Photos need 300 ppi at the size they will print. Images taken from websites or messages are usually 72 ppi and turn soft or blocky on paper, even when they look sharp on screen.
03
Colour mode
Supply files in CMYK, not RGB. Screens can show brighter greens, blues and oranges than ink can print, so convert early and judge the colours before you approve.
04
Rich black for large areas
Big black backgrounds print deeper as rich black (C40 M30 Y30 K100). Keep body text and fine lines in 100% black only, or the colours can show at the edges.
05
Fonts
Embed every font in the PDF or convert text to outlines. A missing font is replaced by another one, and line breaks, spacing and Arabic shaping can change.
06
Logos and line art
Send logos as vector files: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. Vectors stay sharp at any size; a logo copied from a website or a screenshot cannot be enlarged cleanly.
07
Smallest sizes
Keep text at 6 pt or larger, and 7 pt for reversed or thin fonts. Lines thinner than 0.25 pt can break up or disappear in print.
08
Finishes on their own layer
Foil, spot UV and embossing are made from separate artwork. Put each finish on its own layer or spot colour, named clearly, in exact position over the print.
09
Folds and panels
Folded pieces are not divided equally. On a tri-fold, the panel that folds inside is 2–3 mm narrower; we send the right template before you design.
10
QR codes and barcodes
Print codes at least 20 mm wide, dark on light, with a clear margin all round. Scan the final proof with more than one phone before you approve it.
11
Proofreading
We print what you approve. Check names, phone numbers, emails, prices and dates on the final proof, ideally with someone who did not write them.
12
Exporting the PDF
Export as PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4, single pages in reading order, with crop marks and bleed included. One file per item keeps everything easy to check.
13

FAQ
Signage & Large Format Printing: common questions
Which material is best for outdoor banners in the UAE?
Outdoor banners are usually printed on PVC or mesh with UV-resistant inks; mesh suits windy locations. We recommend a material once we know the size, location and how long it needs to last.
Can you install window and wall graphics?
Installation can be arranged depending on the project and location. Mention it in your quote request and we will include the options in our reply.
What resolution do my images need to be?
Large graphics are viewed from further away, so 100–150 dpi at final size is usually enough. We check your files and flag anything likely to look soft.
Do you supply the roll-up stand as well as the print?
Yes. Roll-up and pop-up banners can be supplied with their stands and carry bags. Common roll-up widths are 85, 100 and 120 cm, about 200 cm tall.
Can you make illuminated 3D letters?
Yes. Acrylic, stainless steel and aluminium letters, halo-lit, front-lit or unlit, are fabricated and installed with our partners. Send the wall size and a photo and we suggest options.
Stainless steel or aluminium letters?
Stainless steel suits premium and outdoor signs and can be brushed, mirror or gold-tone. Aluminium is lighter and is usually powder-coated in a brand colour. We recommend one for the site and budget.
Do illuminated signs need a permit?
Street-facing and illuminated signs in Dubai usually need approval from the landlord and the relevant authority. Tell us early; we help you prepare the drawings and details they ask for.
How long does a sign take?
Printed graphics are quicker than built signs: 3D and illuminated letters need fabrication and, often, landlord or mall approval first. Your quotation states the time after your approval.
Do you install outside Dubai?
Yes. Installation can be arranged across the seven Emirates; it is quoted per site once we know the size, height and access.
